Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address (used for authentication via magic link) and a username you choose. We do not collect a password. Login is handled entirely through email-based magic links powered by Supabase Auth.

During gameplay, we store data related to your activity including your card inventory, battle history, friend connections, clan membership, and in-game preferences (such as online visibility and tutorial progress).

How We Use Your Data

• Send magic link emails so you can sign in
• Display your username to other players in battles, leaderboards, clans, and friend lists
• Match you with opponents (random or from your friends list) and track battle results
• Store your card collection and the cards you choose to be in your binder
• Deliver in-game notifications (friend requests, battle invites, results)

Data Storage

All data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database, with authentication handled by Supabase Auth. The site is served via Cloudflare Pages. We do not store data on any additional third-party services.

Cookies & Local Storage

We utilize a session cookie and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preferences (dark, light, or high-contrast). We do not use tracking cookies or any third-party analytics.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your email address is never displayed to other players.

Payments

Voluntary donations are processed through Stripe. We never see or store your payment details, and all payment data is handled entirely by Stripe. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your information.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you would like your account and all associated data deleted, contact us and we will remove it.

Children's Privacy

TCGRNG is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
